Problem with RC2 (1 Viewer)

After Installing a clean new Version of RC2 i installed both Black Glass Skins.

But when i activate one ot these skins, Mediaportal is starting with a blank screen i can klick around and iam hearing the skins sounds but the skin ist not shown.

Outher Skins like pure Vison HD are working perfectly?!?!?!

This may happen using the mpe1 package.

Restarting windows should fix it.
Windows does not recognize the Sansation font installed by the mpe1 package. Only after the restart, windows sees it.

No. I am seeing the same issue with this skin. rebooted several times, still same issue.

I had my system set to autostart MP on windows start, hid task manager, and keep MP always on top. so I would reboot, mp would start, I would see the splash screen, then the splash screen would go away. No MP screen would ever show up. BUT, I also could not click on the desktop. MP was running, but no skin would show up ever. After booting into safe mode (no way to get out of MP) and going into safe mode, I was able to change the configuration so I could get out of MP. Changing skins solved the issue.

Forgot to mention to clear the cache folder.

Maybe it helps.

If not, i'm going to rebuild the mpe1 package without the font file, so that everyone has to install it manually in a safer way.

yeah, this is on a fresh install of MP. I will try clearing the cache and seeing if that fixes it...

ok, becasue of otther issues I am having (no sound) I have uninstall and re installed several different versions. I am back to RC2, and installed black glass nova with the MPEI again. I got the same results as before. Cleared the cache, rebooting, nothing helps the issue...

I will try the other, non mpei install...

I've got the skin running fine, what my problem is is with the MPE1 installer... I want to use this as I like the update option and all that... When I go to install Black Glass Nova 1.1 I get this error..

Ok, still same issue. other skins run fine, but not black glass nova, or black glass. I don't understand what is going on. I tried just the RAR file and it is doing the same thing as the MPEI. So, I don't know what else to do. I will remove the skin, put it back in place, and put up clean log files. now that I have my sound issue fixed, when the skin is supposed to be up, I can hear it when I "move" around, I just can't see anything. It is not black, it is like the entire skin is completly transparent and all I am seeing is the desktop of the OS.

Idem for me ... i tried install with mpe1 and with rar file .... same problem... the skin is "transparent" when started in full screen. In window mode, the MP window is totaly white
