Using only DVB-T, not watching any HD. Aerial is fine as I can watch live TV no problem.
Can you try something, not sure where you are timeshifting too, but a user came up with this for dual\multiple cards.
Make sure you have seperate timeshifting folders for each TV card installed, just create a new folder called something like timeshift2 and point your second tuner to it in TVServer config\recording Settings recorded folders.
stop and restart service under manual control.
This solved his not recording issue, please give your feedback on this one too.
Left one of them on the default recording and timeshift directories (on C: ) changed the other to directories on D:, stopped/started the TV Service. No difference, Family Guy on BBC3 still didn't record. Can still watch BBC3 fine though.
After making the change I set-up a recording that would happen within 10 mins on a different channel (can't remember right now) and that did work. I will do some more tests but tbh, this problem added to my other problem (TV Service taking 90+% CPU and loads of memory) would indicate a possible installation/TV card issue. I'm gearing up to do a complete re-install (of MP not Vista yet).
