Problems using the torrent feature (1 Viewer)

Hallo everyone. I just started using Tv-Series and so far everything workes fine, except one thing - the torrent feature.

When I search for torrent file, TV-Series finds the right torrents, but as soon as i select one torrent to download and hit ok, nothing else happens. No download. In the log window it says: "Torrentsearch process exception catched".

The path for utorrent is set.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium, MediaPortal 1.0 and TV Series v2.0.3296 which came with the StreamedMP Skin V0.4.298.

Any suggestions. Thank you.

Hi budking82, did you modify the search parameters in any way from the default? Last time I checked this it seemed to work fine although I dont personally use this feature. I think I used Mininova presets.

No, didn't change the search parameters, but I solved the problem.

I looked through the source code and tried to find out what was causing the error message to appear.

I didn't have write permisions on the drive where TVSeries was trying to save the file. I thought TVSeries would save the file in the default utorrent download folder. My fault.

Which brings me to next question, can i somehow change the download folder for tvseries?

I dont think you can, but you could could continue looking through the code I think the main purpose is so that the episode is imported into the database after download completes.
