    Hi there

This BSOD is being caused by the tuner driver (NXP/Phillips/Trident SAA716x), probably during the startup of TV Server. Does the tuner work in other software if you don't install MP?

    Can you please:

    1. Set the TV Service to start manually rather than automatically. You may have to do this in safe mode if the BSOD happens when Windows is starting...

On W7 go Start, search for and run "Computer Management" with administrator privilege.
Expand the "services and applications" node.
    Click "services".
    Find "TVService".
    Right click (on TVService)->properties.
    Select "startup type" "manual".
    Click "apply".
    Click "ok".

    2. Restart the computer.
    3. Go back to computer management and find the TVService again.
    4. Attempt to manually start the service (there should be a link in the left hand side panel when you select "TVService").
    5. If there is a BSOD, restart the computer again.
    6. Go to C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\TV Server\log.
    7. Zip up the files in that folder and post them here.

Let me know if you are unable to do that...

Yesterday, I tested again TV Card...

1)System starts without problem, with/without MePo installed

2)TV Card works without problems if i use TV Card Software.

3)If MePo beta doesn't installed, system shutdown without problems.

4)IF MePo alpha or 1.1.3 installed, system shutdown without problems.

5)If i installed MePo Beta again, blue screen appears when i shutdown the system

I'm posting logs today afternoon, now I'm working...:p

    :D

    Ah! Only on shutdown...
Okay, I think I can guess the problem. Try this:

    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. Expand the TV Servers node.
    3. Select your TV Server.
    4. Select one of the Avermedia tuners.
    5. Click "edit".
    6. Change the "when card enters idle state..." option to "stop card (more compatible)".
    7. Click "ok".
    8. Repeat instructions 4, 5, 6 and 7 for all the Avermedia tuners.

After that, please close the TV Server configuration and try to reproduce the problem again.

    Best regards,
    mm

PS: do either of you use preloading for the Avermedia tuners?

Yesterday I was trying HTPC with your configuration...

If i start MePo and don't use TV, HTPC shutdown witout problem.
If i start MePo and use any channel of tv, when shutdown HTPC, blue screen appears again.

When system shutdown with blue screen, next start, TV Card doesn`t work and it doesn´t see in hardware devices on Control Panel. I have to shutdown htpc and unplug electric cord and restart again to view tv card in OS.

    I attach log files.

    Hi again

Is it possible for you to post TV Server logs? This problem is *way* more likely to be caused by something in TV Server...
