    Hi schaudi

joEhSuper asked if anyone could make the file play, so I made it play. I know very little about the TsReader and MP client code, so I would not dare to say that there is no solution for live streams. I simply don't know enough. Whatever the differences are between playing a files with MPG and TS extensions - those are probably the differences that need to be examined.

Who can make this file run in mediaportal???

    I can! :D
If you change the extension to MPG then it plays. It has to be something about the way that TS files are handled, or maybe something about the internal structure of the stream, or maybe something about the wrapping (container) - looks like TsReader thinks there are lots of video continuity errors, which is probably why it doesn't play. Obviously you can't change the extension for a live stream, but at least you can record and play the recordings later...

Ok - that was too easy :D

So who can make this file run in MediaPortal without changing the extension
and who can make our LiveStream run in MediaPortal!

Isn't the real question: Who can modify the MediaPortal tsreader?

@ Schaudi: Jetzt nur net aufgeben ;)

Just wanted to bump this as well (since a colleague is thinking of building a HTPC and adding the AonTV streams there as well). In the german thread we also narrowed it down to the TS reader. The file plays fine in other players like MPC-HC, using the same codec configuration as in MediaPortal, but the problem is definitely the TS reader.

Hopefully the devs will have a look at this?

Your problem is *not* the same. Firstly, you have somehow ended up with TV Server 1.1.2 and MP client 1.1.3 - I recommend that you either upgrade TV Server or downgrade MP client. On the TV Server side, the problem is this:

WaitForPMT: Timed out waiting for PMT after 10,001 seconds. Increase the PMT timeout value?

Rescan your channels or turn on the "lookup PMT in PAT" debug option:
    1. Start TV Server configuration with the debugoptions command line flag (info here).
    2. Navigate to the Debug Options section and enable the option.
    3. Restart TV Server.

That won't matter. Version 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 are identical, the only difference is a bug in 1.1.2, that would tell you that your Windows version is incompatible with MP, if you try to start the MediaPortal client configuration on Windows 7 SP1. That's why 1.1.3 was released, to fix the Windows version check after Win7 SP1 was released.

thanks for that suggestion, just did a complete rescan of all channels: one just worked now, when i changed the channel it just looks like it´s loading infinitely/hanging -> have to quit mp altogether...after that the same thing happens again :(
