I'm just trying to record some series on Canal+ Series from Yousee here in denmark.
But most of it is "noise" and dropouts.

Sometimes it works, but extreamly often it doesent.
Anybody else with this problem?
Or with a sugestion on what is going on?

I can add the logs a bit later, but didnt whant to add them if it was a general problem with the signal provider.
Wich it looks like, due to the fact sometimes it works. And sometimes it just shows artifacts. And the sometimes again it shows artifacts, and then it works.
But i will try to record someting, and then add the logfiles.

    Hi again

No need - just follow the instructions for non-reproducible problems, and I will be able to check for the recordings that you have already done that had problems.

I just had the idea to check the tuning informations:
Signal level is going from 49 to 74.
    The same for the quality.
So i suspect it to be related to the signal.
Probably a rescan or something is nessesary.

    Hi again

Yes there are continuity errors in the TsReader log... which might mean bad signal, however it would be better to provide the tv.log and TsWriter log.

The continuity errors are also present in the TsWriter log, so the most common causes would be:
    - signal quality
    - HDD stress (virus scan, Windows Defender etc.)
    - CAM issues
    - overheating components

If you see that the signal quality is dropping significantly then it is more likely the signal quality, but the other causes can also have an effect.

Since the problem only occures with chanels that require the CAM.
And it's only on those channels that the signal drops, i would think as you say:

    Signal Quality
    or
    CAM issue

But since it's possible to record sometimes.
Doesnt it indicate the signal, more than the CAM?

mm1352000 :) it looks as if you kicked me in the right direction. I just removed a old "Cabel" box from the antenna "line"/"cabel" thingi.
And it actualy looks as if it did the trick.
At least i now have 100% signal strength when i check the tuning details.
