Bram - To find out if it is a skin issue, use one of the standard skins (BlueTwo & MCE) so how it performs under those.

I've tried that a few moments ago. Same problems. So it's probebly not skin-related. I've had these problems before, on a other machine with other skins to. But I thought it still might be a ksinning problem....

Me too, it takes ages to load a db with 20k songs

I have sorted my files in folders. And not all of them have correct ID3 tags. Actually, a lot of them don't. The first reason why I switched to MP from Windows MCE, is that I can browse thrue the music files instead of only being able to use ID3 tags.

I'm using 720x576.

But I think that's the clue.
Don't know if Harley can do something about it?
