I noticed a cosmetic issue in My Weather: on the 4 day forecast, the texts ("Fair", "Mostly Sunny" etc) are partially over the corresponding picture.

I noticed a cosmetic issue in My Weather: on the 4 day forecast, the texts ("Fair", "Mostly Sunny" etc) are partially over the corresponding picture.

The simple solution is to edit your strings.xml for a shorter translation.
If finnish is this long you can edit the xml skin file for weather and increase the xpos value for the pictures.

The "official" solution would mean a change to fade out these labels - you wouldn't be able to read them then..

Oh, I'm running MP in English so it's not a language-related issue.


Btw, if I want to post screenshots in the forums, do I have to host the pictures somewhere else and just link to them?

one little thing, the DVRMScut plugin is causing some problems because of the overlay - it's to small and the real videowindow isn't used which makes pretty hard to use (-;:

i solved it, but there are still some problems with the slider, i'll work on that.

if that takes me longer than you to publish your next release, here the corrected xml for the video window:

Hi all,
the skin is really awesome and I think it is one of the best skins for MP.
But unfortunately there are still some bugs and I tried to solve some of them. For example the Cutscreen of Dvr-MpegCut and an error in the VideoOverlay.
I also have updated some files from Fidoboy's version to the actual version of the skin, because I think the layout with background3.png is better than the original one.

First off, I would like to say I love this skin!! It looks great!! It is is my favorite one thus far......

There are a few things I would like to do to tweak it though. Is there a way to have the video that is in the background to just show up as a square in th corner instead of having the big pop folder style in the corner? I think the original version for the Xbox had that, but I could be wrong. Also, I love the drop down menu on the top (with FF, RW, etc.) but is there a way to have a more streamlined one?

There is one thing in the skin that I find a little unlogical.
When playing music the small information and visualisation display in the lower left corner shows two song titles. The bold-big one is theprevious played track from the playlist. The small one beneath it is the track playing at that moment. It's natural to asume the bold and scrolling one is the track playing at that moment. I would prefer to only see one tracktitle...scrolling in bold (the upper line) an beneath it the artist name and possebly the album name and bitrate.

Also....as mentioned in another topic I stubled upon today....It would be nice to have the volume bar shown everywhere, when the volume is lowerd or raised. Not only when in fullscreen TV or movie screen. I think a lot of people would appriciate that.
Also, it would be nice to be able check the current time at any moment. Just like you are able with, I think, all teletext supporting TV's (a small display in the upper right corner, in most cases).

Great skin, looks great on the 50" in the lounge. The skin for the "My TV Series" plugin didn't really fit well (designed for the MCE skin I believe?) so I used it as a base and ...

Made them for my own personal use but is it ok to post a download link for the needed files or would I be stepping on the toes of the skin's author? Anyone want them for that matter?
