I've always used Nvidia Purevideo codec with mediaportal as it's invariably given excellent results. However, I've just done a clean installl of WinXP, installed TV server and client, and now cannot get Purevideo to work correctly. For example switching to BBC News 24, the scrolling ticker is no longer smooth, it jerks along, as if it's missing out every other frame. Oddly, if I view the same channel using the TV Server preview window the picture is perfect. I've checked out the pins using graphedit and they're exactly the same when using the client or TV Server preview window. I've also checked the Purevideo settings and they are correct. So far i've:
uninstalled and re-installed capture cards
uninstalled and re-installed Purevideo
uninstalled and re-installed TV Engine & Client
So far, nothing's changed! Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks for your help.
