New icons for topbar and OSD

Hi to all,
just finished with overworking the icons in topbar and OSD.
Please find enclosed the respective .rar file.
Copy (overwrite) the content of this file into the folder .../Media of your PureVision skin, clear the cache, restart PureVision and (hopefully) enjoy
Note: These icons work in ALL PureVision skins.

Thanks to the developer of this SKIN! It looks amazing.

Hopefully someone can help me out... I am fairly new to the using skins in MP... Have always used Blue3Wide but was getting bored of it.

I am a very simple MP user.... I only use it for my Movies and TV Series. I may bring in music at some point but currently am not.

So I have been using Moving Pictures and TV Series.

On the Home Screen of PureVisionHD when I click on Video or TV it does nothing. I am guessing because I am not using the standard Video and TV stuff from MP.
When I go into Plugins I see Moving Pictures and TV Series. and they work great. But since these are the only Plugins enabled it shows them 8 times on the screen and I think that looks silly.
Is there anyway to have it not repeat?

And also is there anyway of making the Video and TV selections on the Home Screen go to Moving Pictures and TV Series?

Hello Catavolt,

For your information: I hust have installed the new SVN Build of MediaPortal (23831) and the PureVision skin v. 2.8 doesn't work with it.
The MediaPortal traps during the loading. The internal Blue3 skin works great.

Hi YuryKos, cannot confirm this issue. All skins are running as expected under last SVN.

Maybe the problem is in modification of the MyVideo.xml ? I modefied it according to your comments on page 47.

In this case please open common.rss.xml, look for the respective entries and copy those to the myvideo.xml. Hopefully this should work then

Hi whit27, for the compliments.
And here we go (hope you are a bit familiar with editors):
Open BasicHome.xml.
Goto line 397. At this position the definition of the buttons start.
Below of <description>TV normal push button</description> you´ll find the tag <hyperlink>. For Moving Pictures you have to change this to <hyperlink>96742</hyperlink> and the label to <label>Moving Pictures</label>.

Look for the button you want to assign TVSeries (e.g. <description>videos normal push button</description>)
Change the <hyperlink> tag to <hyperlink>9811</hyperlink> and the <label> tag to <label>1300</label>.
Save the file.
Restart MP.
If you all made correct as described above, you should see the changed buttons which now will call directly Moving Pictures and TVSeries.

I did this but got the same problem. If I put original file - all works fine.
Could you please give me the specific recommendations?
