ATM I won´t support 4TR because it does not function as expected. There where a lot of bugs reported in the different forum threads for it, especially in conjunction with 1.1.0 BETA and latest SVNs.

Don't mistake people who can't get it configured with bugs

We have clearly marked the steps needed to use For The Record with MP 1.1 in the beta binaries thread here (For The Record - View topic - For The Record 1.4.0.1 binaries for MediaPortal 1.1 Beta).

IMPORTANT: Move all "skin/4TR_*", "skin/<skinname>/Media/4TR_*" and "language/fortherecord_*" files to the new MP location!
On Windows 7 and Vista this is C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\,
on XP C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal.

But alas, it seems people never read everything correctly

But I see there's been other responses from For The Record users praising its rock-solidness, so don't just take my word for it...

I agree, FTR is rock solid - also with 1.1.0 BETA - and IMHO not at all compliacted to configure. For me it works so much better than PowerScheduler. But I guess we don't discuss FTR here, this is about PureVisionHD. It doesn't support FTR today and I respect catavolt's view on this.

Catavolt, is there anything the FTR users can do to help you supporting this one also?

Hi, When I am with any menu, the letters that can move horizontally, they flicker when they are not selected. I am using PV HD 3.1 with Mediaportal 1.1.0
I have tryed to change the horizontal desplacement speed but unsuccessfully.

What solution do you have?

Catavolt...i installed the Pure VisionHD3.1 brand new and now it works fine. So forget my Queastion 2 posts before.
But if i look a Movie with Moving pictures is missed the Controllbar (contex Menu) in the bottom of the screen. Is it right? I mean the last version supports this.

After installing the new skin you have to clear the skin cache so everything works fine. Here the OSD works as expected.

ok i cleared the Cache but have the same problem. Or is ther no osd menu till looking Moving pictures? I thougt there was a osd before.

After some tries to get the menu i deleted the complete Skin and Media Portal. Today i will intall it complete new. maybe there was a failure by installing.

How it works with complete Backups for MP`?
