Fixed the labels in common.osd.buttons.video.xml and in common.osd.buttons.xml, but there will be a lot of labels in different plugins that are hardcoded. I will test PVHD now in Russian - maybe I can find a solution.

Well, back from testing in Russian - all labels are displayed perfectly correct. If the font I use for PVHD don´t have the required letters in Russian, MP automatically falls back to a standard font (I think Arial Unicode?) which have all letters. So the font72_95.dds becomes 148 MB, which seems to be correct. No errors in log, no error log for fonts created.
Then I tested it (just for fun) in Hebrew, worked also as described above.
So what do you think I should do? Revert all to 255, let it as it is?
Maybe this trick helps: Start MP the first time lets say in English, close it, choose another language - in your case Russian - start it again.

Do you mean that with the setting of 1105 in strings_ru.xml and 1536 in PV HD fonts.xml you have no errors? Since for me this doesnot work without running MP for the second time to allow font72 creation?

And no, I had no errors.
I was on German, left MP, opened MPConfig -> Skin -> Language -> Russian. Closed MPConfig, started MP (with PVHD) and it worked without any error in logs.
Then closed MP, opened MPConfig -> Skin -> Language -> Hebrew. Closed MPConfig, started MP (with PVHD) and it worked without any error in logs.
Then closed MP, opened MPConfig -> Skin -> Language -> German. Closed MPConfig, started MP (with PVHD) and it worked without any error in logs.
Again closed MP, opened MPConfig -> Skin -> Language -> Russian. Closed MPConfig, started MP (with PVHD) and it worked without any error in logs.
Now I switched back to German

I have other plugins like MovingPics configured in Russian and therefore MP always trying to use strings_ru even if default language is English, however now I have to reload MP only once after clearing PV HD cache to allow the creation of font 72. So it seems similar to run it for the first time under English and changing the language after.

Anyway I stilll do not understand why ony OSD requires setting in strings_ru to be different from 255. As I understand it is the same font used in most of other sections of the skin.

Yes, your right - same fonts in all skin areas.- BTW: It´s the same font that StreamedMP is using. Could you verify your problems with that skin?

Last test release PVHD 3.5

Hi to all,
please find enclosed the last test version for PureVisionHD 3.5 before final release together with MP 1.1 RC1 (maybe next weekend ).
Fixed all bug mentioned in the last posts, reworked the design of MP-TVSeries etc.
Hope you´ll like it!

Catavolt, one more question. A few pages back you told us to copy and paste 2 fonts from the Fonts folder. However I found only 1 font there, being Goodtime. Probably the other one s already in Windows fonts, but which one should it be ?

Of which version are you talking? The instruction you referring to is for the testversions only like the last one directly above your post. And these fonts are installed from installer now.
