Hi, I am sorry if this is a dumb question but I cannot install this. I have tried to double click, brings up the web service to find a file. When I manually choose MPInstaller.exe it say invalid package. I have winrar I tried to extract and that dont work. What do I do?

I suspect you still have older version of MediaPortal installed and not the 1.1.0RC1?

how do I find out what version I have? I downloaded the one off the main site.

Ugh I need to find a way to install RC1, Im on xp x64 and the application compatibility toolkit worked on the previous version, not this one and I already uninstalled the old

As rekenaar stated above, you MUST use MP 1.1 RC1 to have the correct installer for mpe1 files (as clearly stated on the DL pages for PVHD skins).
