Hmm,

my main problem was no MP crashes or missing schedules or something else.
I just did not like rm200 and IRSS, because:
- rm200 is acting unsteadily
- IRSS sometimes refuses to start

As far as I understand IRSS is able to put MP to sleep, the same way as MP would do it (stop playback, move to home screen, reset gui actions, ...).

It seems they do it the same way you explained it. However - it would be nice if my display turns off, when pressing powerbutton, to give user feedback.

Hi Walzing, for your problem with RM200 + IRSS, i think your button "Enter" on Remote, is attached to "OK" in Mapping Button ! TRy yo change OK by Enter ...

So I decided to buy a Logitech Harmony 600 and use IMON Software without IRSS.

i think i have the self or a very similiar antec case.
from the beginning on, didn t use the integratet imon-display sensor, the attached remote and the ugly imon-software to control mediaportal.
i only had problems with it.
sorry for the clear words, but for my opinion, the antec remote, the sensor and of course the ugly imon-software are big bullshit to control mediaportal.
therefore i bought a ms mce v2 with external usb-sensor.
it was working out of the box!!! no problems.
since them i use the usb sensor of the mce v2 with an logitech harmony one and have absolutly no problems with it.
everything works near pefect. put the htpc to s3 or s4 and wake it up with remote again, also works great.
so i can only recomendet that you forget this antec/-imon/remote-bullshit and buy a compatible sensor and get a harmony.
then your problems should be solved.
here is also a very friendly guy wich sells sensor/harmony bundles wich work great with mediaportal.
search for Aeone (or similiar).
so far as hint for me.

p.s: i only have imon-installed that the display-plugin from mediaportal can use my lcd display. but god help me, not for controlling mediaportal

update: workaround for:
you already have an harmony, thats good.
program the harmony as mce remote, get an mce compatible sensor and you can set you htpc to sleep (standby and also hibernation but keep in mind that also your mainboard must support this. not all boards can be waked up with this solution) and wake it up with you remote. it should then work out of the box.

sure i use powerscheduler to put the htpc to sleep. more exactly: powerscheduler plus.
if i want to put the htpc on demand to sleep, i press the correct button on the remote for it and also if i want to wake it up again.
powerscheduler is settet up that the htpc goes automaticly into s3 (wakeup by remote from s4 isn t working with my board), if the system is ideling for 15 minutes.
so i have an automatic and can also set it to sleep and wake it up on demand.

So it seems, I am the only person who wants to put MP to sleep by pressing the power toggle button on my remote.
Currently I am thinking about writing an addin that will do this:

But right now, I have configured my HTPC to use iMon Manager only and send 'H' + 'B' when I press remote. But it seems sometimes keys are lost (H is not handled but B is).
But the user won't get feedback. So another option would be to shutdown the display (Minidisplay). It seems there is a cleanup function in minidisplay, that will shutdown the display.

MP by default supports putting the HTPC to sleep by pressing the correct button on the remote.

You should not have to write anything??

From what I can see the issue is that your Harmony remote is not working correclty with the iMon receiver?

You have tried IRSS but can not get this to work?

Have you double/triple check all your button/key mappings?
