hi Julio

is it possible to use the second blaster for audio receiver or TV control ?

    thx

No, not with myblaster. It's only for channel changing. But there are some projects being developed to allow you to do it, or you could use HIP. Do a search and I beleive that some of this projects are being discussed in the forums.

Test this one if you have stable releases

This version was compiled agains base 2.0.0 base code. I think it should work on later stable releases as well.

Installation instructions are the same as before.

Let me know if it helps.

    Hello Julio

Thank you for doing it for the stable release. I am using the latest .2.0.0.4 I believe it is.

When I run Blaster.exe I can save the remote numbers. I can test them and I see the blaster flash and the sat. receiver light up in responce to the blaster. To me that means that it is working from the Blaster.exe setup software.

When I run MP the blaster does not flash when I use the remote or the keypad to change the channels.

I checked the Blaster.log in the MediaPortal directory and it looks OK. Here are the last two entries:

In my plugins I have it activated, so I really don't know what the problem is.

What directories are the various programs and drivers to be in? Are the Myblaster and Myblaster (learn) directories off the main MP directory or are they in the plugin or plugin/process directory? Which directory should the myblaster.dll program go in?

    Any help would be appreciated!!

    Thanks .... Dale

Hi Joboehl, can you please tell me how to modify my mediaportal.xml file (as you mentioned at the start of this thread) so that the new options show up in Blaster.exe. I'm running MP 0.2.0.4 and dropped your most recent myblaster.dll file in Plugins/Process but Blaster.exe looks same as before.

    Thanks

    Dale,

Could you post the log messages of the myblaster initialization? That way I can try to trace what's going on inside the plug-in.

Use pastebin or send me the mediaportal.log trough PM.

Hi Joboehl, can you please tell me how to modify my mediaportal.xml file (as you mentioned at the start of this thread) so that the new options show up in Blaster.exe.

Pom, edit your mediaportal.xml file and add a section for myblaster. Then add the entrys you would like to enable. Something like this:

1

1

I'm running MP 0.2.0.4 and dropped your most recent myblaster.dll file in Plugins/Process but Blaster.exe looks same as before.

Yep, that's it. I havent touched in the learning process. Just the blasting part of it. You shoudl learn and save the remote codes just as you do with the original code.

Saturn, appears that the new code is having some troubles with your MP version. :)

Could you use the version attached here and then attach your MediaPortal.log again?
