Quick enabling subtitles? (1 Viewer)

I'm watching a tv series that is in English, so I don't really need the subtitles. But there are a few characters that have accents so strong that I can't really understand what they're saying. Enabling subtitles helps a lot when they're speaking.

The problem is that enabling subtitles is a real pain. With my remote, I've got to pause the video, select the info menu, down-arrow a few times, select subtitles, down-arrow to the subtitle, turn it on, and then unpause the video.

This is kind of a lot of work and it interrupts the flow of the show.

Is there any way I can configure some sort of macro that will automatically toggle subtitles with one keypress on the remote?

Thanks.

The MCE remote has it on one of the colored keys by default. The yellow?

But what remote do you have ?
What version of Mp are you using?
etc

I'm using MP 0.2.3.0
It's a Vista remote control.
I'm running Windows XP.

Not sure what other information would be relevant.

Well, I don't know the Vista remote - but what have you selected in MP?

That is where this should be setup - I don't know the 0.2.3 but I guess the setup for remotes haven't changed that much
