When I try to tune in to a radio channel nothing happens. After a while the "play windows" appears at the bottom left but no sound.

I were thinking it might be somehow codec related but I'm not sure, analogue TV works for me but not FM. as far as I know it oficialy does work, just in reality it doesn't. not for us anyway.

did you ever end up getting anywhere, I see the post is quite old but no reason to think it is not still relevent.

I can confirm that fm-radio works fine in MP 1.0.2 with HVR-1300 (driver: HVR1300 88x_2_123_27056_WHQL)

Could this be related to needing the latest FFDShow Tryouts version and changing the codec support for MP1\MP2 from libmad to libavcodec.

Only a thought, but then there have been that many fixes on the analogue side by MisterD (our non digital whizz) who know's

im not sure if my problem is different to above, i can't even preview analog fm radio in tvserver config. quite a few NZers have had trouble with HVR2200 + MP1.0 Final or newer + FM Radio preview in tvserver. The error is "No signal" error, so would this codec related?

FWIW I haven't installed any codecs other than divx 5.1 and xvid 1.1.3.
The only thing i did was to manually add the channels in MP-configuration and then assigned the channels to the tunercard.
(I know there has been some problems with radio not working in hauppauge WinTV due to driver problems. Does it work in WinTV v4.6b)
