After about 6 months of playing with mediaportal and fixing my htpc I have finally got to the stage where I haven't had to touch it in about a month.
However there is one niggling problem which has been there for a while and I thought I'd give it one last go at solving to complete the project. The problem is I can preview radio via my tv tuner in the tvserver config and it works fine. However in mediaportal it self if I select a radio channel it starts "playing" as I can see the duration timer counting however there is no sound. However I have clients which can stream the radio no problem so obviously it is either a config issue or a codec issue. I'm not sure what codec is required to playback radio but as it plays in the tvserver config I obviously have it. I use ffdshow as my tv codec which I'm assuming is used as the radio codec too. Anyways I can't get to the pc right now as it is in use but I'll post logs as soon as I can. In the meantime anyone have any ideas about this? Seems really strange to me, especially since ffdshow plays virtually everything and at one point I had every codec enabled but apart from a codec issue what else could it be? As I said I'll post logs soon as but in the meantime if you guys have any ideas/suggestions. Thanks.
