My DNTV! Live Dual Hybrid PCIe is supposed to to FM radio (it does with its own software) but media portal tells me that it does not support FM! Is there some way to force it to detect it as an FM tuner?

I have used a TV/Radio plugin in Winamp which I have called from Mediaportal. This method made all of my radio cards work in Mediaportal. Well, Ok, appear to work as MP simply launched Winamp in the background with the selected radio station.
I put togther a guide to do all of this in the Plugins section a while ago. :)

    Hope this helps,

Actually I should have updated this post, MP now detects and auto-tunes the radio but can not play it, I get "can not start time shifting". It looks like i may have needed a mpeg2 encoder for the radio to work (I fixed it while trying to fix the analogue TV where the mpeg2 encoder makes more sense).

so still not running but it is detected at least
