Latest SVN

I installed the latest SVN with RC4. I have had no drop outs for one night and still testing (10 minutes was my best before this SVN). The difference for me is that they have added the frequencies for Australia in this SVN. If there is anyone on this topic from Aus with the signal loss problem please try the latest SVN and see if you get the same result..... Perhaps the channels are not scanning correctly??

I tried to use a mpsa.ax from jan-06 but that didn't help.

Any ideas how to fix or does devs need more logs or any other help?

I have cable TV and the signal is perfect. No distorted tv on any channel. Half the time I switch to a new chanel I see the chanel for two seconds. Then the screen tuns black and I get the "No signal detected' dialog. I can still hear the sound. When I change to an other channel sometimes the same thing happens and sometimes not....
It seems kind of random. It doesn't occure on specific channels. The same chanel can work perfectly one moment and the other moment i get no image.

If it happens it is alway after +/- two seconds after changing to the channel.

The problem is that there are more than one thing that causes the no signal error



type 1 Within 5 seconds of changing channel the signal is lost.

type 2 A no sognal error comes up if there hard drive problem (no space while recording / ts)

type 3 The signal gets chopy and then gets lost - I think that high cpu usage causes this.

type 4 signal is lost when the screen goes black.

These are just the ones i have experianced so there code be more, i posted a suggestion above but none of the dev read it.

The problem is only one or two of the developers have no signal problems so only the ones that do are trying to fix the problem.

don't think this is my case cause I got it while (my wife) was watching Europeean song contest and I (my wife) didn't see any black screens

With mPods help here https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=15534&highlight= I've tried a pre 7400 revision, based on RC2.

Using this version I haven't had ANY 'no signal' errors in 5 days or so. I suggest that others also try revision 29-01-2006. It seems whatever updates were included in 7400 are the cause of my problems.

Sounds like a good idea, would really like to try this but have no clue how to do it.

Especially as if you go back to a build nearly 4 months old, you really notice all the work thats been accomplished.

I'm going to try this old build and will update my post.

Oups.. I forgot, I can't test it cause the support for Techotrend CI is too new. And I haven't enough FTA channels.
Maybe I'll reinstall my floppydtv tonight.

I had the same problem with the Dual Fusion, however if you just copy the capturecarddefinitions.xml file from RC4 into the RC2 install it should detect your card fine.
