Record-icon is not shown on TV guide when recording 2 consecutive series (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have set up series recording for Flash and Gotham, but at the TV Guide only Flash is shown with the recording Icon:

When viewing the program info for Gotham it is correctly shown that it will be recorded today after Flash.

Any ideas?

This is a long-standing problem; see for instance this thread:

There is some indication that this problem occurs when:

(1) The HTPC is "weak", i.e. slow CPU or slow hard disk.
(2) The EPG broadcast with the TV signals is used to populate the EPG.

But no one really knows for sure. You could try:

(1) Replacing your C: drive with an SSD (Solid State Disk).
(2) Using an EPG downloaded from the internet in place of the broadcast EPG.

But neither of these changes may solve the problem.

Thanks for you answer. You are right, I am using a dedicated HTPC, therefore it is rather weak (can not change this) and I am using EPG via TV (EPG via Internet does not work).

This week even both series do not show a record Icon on tv guide.

So hopefully, a Mediaportal-developer can take on this issue.
