I would like a feature to have a small meter show the remaining hard drive space when pressing the record button. Nothing fancy, just a little bar from 0-100%
yea, i would just hate switching back and forth from the recording screen to the status plugin. seems easy to have it displayed right as you are about to record.
I have just had a problem due to the lack of knowing that my hard disk was full.
Because I wanted to control myself when to delete my recordings, the automatic deletion of them after viewing was switched off.
When I was in a hurry to record something because I had to leave, the system was just not willing to do so and it is only after a few days and multiple times trying to make it recored - after rebooting numerous times because my system is always in hibernation - that I found out there was no space available.
We all know that even these bigger drives are not hard to fill and I guess there are more people out there who bump on this issue.
Therefore, if possible, such a feature would be welcome and I am also sure that this would make MP even more mature and most of all: idiot proof.
Something like in GB-PVR would be nice. GB-PVR shows a nice chart, which shows the status of your hard drive. But I don't even think we would need something fancy here. A very simple solution would be sufficient, as long as it would be located somewhere in the recordings/TV section.

MP1 has a "Tuning Details" panel that displays signal strength, signal quality, and picture resolution. It is updated in real time when viewing a channel:

To other people reading about this 'issue', Doskabouter provided me with a fix/patch. It is a modified version of tswriter.ax which solved the problem with dolby digital plus audio.
I want to thank Doskabouter for all his time and energy he put into resolving this!!

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...
