recorded a tv show when you have rewind (1 Viewer)

Hello guys,

I have a question..

Is there a way to recorded a tv show when you have rewind the current playing tv show?

Sometimes, you see some funny stuff on the tv. But if you have see it, you are to late to recorded it. In mediaportal you can rewind a few seconds or minutes, but when you press the record button, he is recording from the live time and not from the moment you press the record button.

Hope guys you understand my problem and know an solution.. Would be great!

There was an experimental project going for this, but I do not think it was completed and it won't work with current MP 1.2 beta.

I'm new to MediaPortal and have coding experience.. is there a sort of developer guide to help me understand the inner workings of MP? I'd very much like to contribute and add this feature.
