Recorded TV - database import - missing XML files (1 Viewer)

I had a hick up on the drive for recorded TV. I still have most files so no problem, or ...

I could only import 3 of the 20 or so files into the recorded TV database. Turns out that the related .xml files for the other .ts files where gone.

I do not understand how a glitch can cause only the .xml files to disappear, but whatever.

I noticed that new recordings don't produce an associated .xml file. Is this new in 1.3.0? If so does the import function still work, since it only imported the recordings that do have an .xml file?

Same problem here and no solution so far, only way to reimport tv recordings is to manualy create an xml,

TV Server used to have a setting that enables/disables creation of the files in TV Server configuration. That setting was removed from TV Server configuration, but plugins can include the setting. So I suspect you may be using a plugin that disables creation of the XML files.

? I use backup settings, com Skip launcher, power scheduler, web epg and xml tv, where to find the setting?

I don't know.
I use XMLTV and that doesn't have the setting.
I don't use the other plugins.

I'm not sure but could this be the Setting
createtaginfoxml in the Setting table? What is your Setting? mine is yes.

Please open the mysql workbench, then open the mptvdb. There you can find the table "Setting". There is an entry with "createtaginfoxml" put "yes" in that field.

found it and changed the setting , never did this before directly in the database , question is, why my setting was "no"?
