Hello all,
First off I set MP to record SPOOKS on BBC1 last night. I left the pc running closed the front end of MP and then went to bed turning off the Wireless router (connecting MP to the WWW). I came down trhis morning Spooks hadnt recorded and was still showing in scheduled. I also had to restart tv service to watch live TV as i was infromed no card was available.

A second point, when i first installed RC4 I imported my recorded TV from previous versions into the DB with no problem. I then used MP to cut some recordings and deleted some no MP only shows a couple of recording in the recorded tv. I deleted the TV database from the user config files and tried to import again but they werent there. I am guessing the database is corrupt but cannt find where to reset it.
I have included a screen shot of the recorded tv folder.

Hello!

Guess I have the some problem since RC4.
Yesterday I scheduled an recording, but after correct wakeing up the recoding didn't start. The scheduled recording stays in timer-screen.
This morning I tried it again, same behavior!

I think its due to the fact that you turned off the router.

Try this - turn on the tv, turn off the router. Does the TV die? In older versions of MP, when the network goes down, the TV dies. There is a way around it, but I cant think what it was off the top of my head.

Thank god for iPlayer though - you wont have to miss spooks! ;)

I remember seeing the solution for the network problem , however using this means i can't stream TV to any other PC. I really do think MP shouldn't through a hissy fit when the router is turned off.
