Recorded TV Slow To Start (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
Ever since I can remember I have found playing recorded tv programs to be very slow to start. Taking upto 30 seconds to start, similar to starting live tv although I never understood why as it isn't using the tv tuner. Anyways the other day I started playing a recorded program from my videos and it started instantly. So I was wondering is there any particluar reason why this happens or is there something wrong with my setup? I'll post logs if necerssary. Thanks.

Might be graphbuilding/codec problems

Let's start with:
1. Clear logs
2. Enter MP and try to playback a recording
3. Gather and UL logs

I gathered the logs... Had a quick look through and it seems tvserver is still looking for shows I deleted already but that isn't the issue as it occured before as well... Anyways I couldn't see the cause so if anyone can help... thanks...

I have the same problem, maybe I can provide some additional info. For testing of this issue I recorded a few minutes of the hd showcase from the german television sender "ZDF". The format is 720p/50 (unternehmen.zdf.de: Fragen zum HDTV Standard).

Here are the situations where watching these recordings will work/fail:

• I can watch the recording without problems via "Recorded TV" -> View attachment start_recorded_tv_ts.rar
• I can't watch the same recording via "My Videos" (it will just freeze and show no video at all) -> View attachment start_recorded_video_ts.rar
• I can watch the recording via "MyVideos" after I converted the container from ts to mkv (using MediaCoder, just copied the audio/video stream, no encoding)View attachment start_recorded_video_mkv.rar

If needed I could also upload the media files (since it's a showcase video I don't think there will be any problems regarding copyright).

Tested with the latest public svn snapshot (Revision:23831)

My problem isn't that the recordings don't play its just in my videos they play instantly and in the tv section they take about 30 secs to start, just to be clear. No one has any ideas?
