I decide to record channel A (press record button on my MCE remote and select record current programme). I can still watch channel A while it is being recorded. Works fine.</p><p></p><p>I then decide to switch to another channel ("channel B") while channel A is being recorded. As far as I understand it, I should be able to record channel A with one DVB-C card and watch channel B with the other card - simultaneously.</p><p>But when I switch to channel B nothing happens, until after a couple of seconds I get a message saying that timeshifting could not be started. Same if I try another channel. Channel A keeps getting recorded (as far as I can tell).</p><p></p><p>Even if I stop the channel A recording, I can't start live TV anymore ("unknown error"), not even a TVService restart fixes it, only a reboot does fix it in the end. What gives?</p><p></p><p>I can't even watch TV in DVBViewer, which normally works, but in this case it says the DVB device is not ready/available (again, killing/restarting the TV service doesn't help either, only rebooting the machine does).</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Any help would be greatly appreciated!</p><p></p><p></p><p>PS: the logs are from after I did the scenario I described above (i.e. recording, switching to another channel, stopping the recording and restarting MediaPortal to "record" the logs).</p></blockquote><p></p>
