Recordings aborted (1 Viewer)

I am experiencing recordings that are prematurely stopped. Both series recordings and single scheduled recordings stop too early. But not always. Many recordings finish OK. What might be the problem? A 2,5h recording stopped after 1,75h. A 1h recording stopped after 0.75h. Is this a known problem in 1.0 RC2? It is a HVR2200 that is recording. The part where the recording started and stopped looks like this (a scheduled 2.5h recording that only recorded 1.75h):

Can anyone explain what happens between 7:39 and 8:35? It looks like the live3-0.ts.tsbuffer7.ts should have been created but that does not happen. What can cause this? Can COMSKIP be involved? Problems with the ATI AVIVO codec? MP internal problems with the .ts writer? Anybody seen this before? It has happened to me a few times and it is difficult to trust that a recording has ended properly.

I get some kind of the same problem here. I scheduled a recording of a childsprogram that is showed 2 times a day. I let the recording start 3 minutes ahead and let it record 3 minutes after the ending of the program. I end up with recordings of 6 minutes and a couple of seconds.

I wonder why. If you look in your log-have you got the same behaviour I have? These lines look really strange to me:

My recording stopped after 1h44min which corresponds to 07:39 in the log. I was hoping a developer could have a look at my log files and tell me what's wrong.

I might have solved the problem. "Use comskip" was checked in both mediaportal and TV-server(by mistake). I am not using comskip at all now. This seems to have solved my problem. The software should check if the same functionality is selected both in MP and TV-server and raise a warning message. I will start using comskip from TV-server again, when I am 100% certain all recordings end as expected.

Problem solved here too. MCE Standby Tool was running and causing the problems!

Problem not resolved. Recordings are interrupted or ot recorded at all. I have tried:
newest catalyst 8.9 drivers (I am using avivo codecs)
re-installed HVR-2200 and PVR-USB2 drivers
re-installed MP1.0.0.0RC2 and applied latest svn, something fishy here though-never saw the Repair option

Nothing helps. I'm going crazy

I kept my Database during re-install.Could that be causing the issue?

Found a bug. When I have started a recording and enter the "Currently recording", the recording is stopped/aborted upon leaving the Currently recording dialog. Anybody knows the cure?

Just a follow up on the problem with interrupted recordings:
My TV-card was broken and a replacement card solved all problems.
