[confirm] Recordings and TV sometimes stops after pause (1 Viewer)

Now i have an example

A lot of times (but not always) if i pause watching tv, video or records and try to continue it does not work.

In this case i watched tv and started than a recorded tv show. After some seconds i pressed pause, after some more seconds pause again to continue. The playback stopped and i got back to the list of recordings.
Please check the logs starting with 2010/05/28 around 17:40.

The same problem occurs with videos and live tv. In that case i have to restart MP.

Just to clarify, you are saying that if you have a video file playing, and pause it, then try to resume playback, is will also stop playing and dump you back to the menu?

If so, does it matter what type of video you are playing (MPEG2, h264, etc) ?

In case of recording and video it jumps back to the list of recording/video.
if i try to play it again it starts from beginning not from the point where it stopped.

i use evr.

... and it does no matter if sd or hd video or tv.
i also tried to find a way to reproduce with different tv sender and videos - was not able...

Could you please do the following:
- in Start Menu select "MediaPortal Debug-Mode" to create clean logs (without extra plugins and not including yesterday activities)
- go to MyVideo
- start some video
- pause it
- resume
- then again start same video
- repeat pause \ resume
Do it until you find wrong behaviour.
If it happens not always - tell us something like "I started this movie 10 times and I saw bugs in attempts #2, #5, #8".
It will help us with analizing your logs.

If you tried to reproduce it, let say, 10 times and had not seen bugs - try another movie.

Ok, tried it and i got an error...
i went into videos, watched tv and started a recorded tv show. i stepped forward some minutes and than i pressed pause. after pressing pause again it switched back to the list of recordings.
For me it looks that the error occured at 17:10:01.590000 (mediaportal.log).

Maybe you could see something

... A little strange for me is that the mtn.exe tries to create thumbs - i checked again, it is switced of in config...
