Hi, I've got the same problem, but using the solution that RTV gave isn't working for me.
    I'm runnning MP 1.0.2.0.

Ive tried moving the recordings to a different folder, and updating the database in mediaportal, then moving them back, and updating the database as well.

    Still no joy.

    Any other ideas?

Did you delete ALL entries in the recordings table?

    I followed these steps:
    - Open SQL Server Management Studio
    - Open a new query on your MpTvDb
    - Execute this command "delete from recording"
    - Open SetupTv.exe
    - Reimport your recordings

I'm a noob with this SQL Server stuff, and used SQL Management Express. I don't know how to open up the tables with the data in them to make sure that all of the info has been deleted, but after I ran the command "delete from recording" it gave me a message stating that the records were deleted.

Did you try rebooting the system, then go to the import tab, sometimes it takes both a restart of SQL server and TVServer before new recordings found.

I tried rebooting after clearing the recording table, but no luck.

I also moved the recorded TV files, and cleared out the database (to give a clean start), and recorded new program, but, again, this didn't show in the Recorded TV page. The information is correct in the SQL database, as I opened the table and physically checked the info for the one program that I had recorded. Looks like the issue is somewhere in MP.

I'm at a loss as to what to do. Is installing MP1.1 likely to fix it?

Only if you clean out your current install before.
    Two things worry me:
2009-02-19 00:08:46.031250 [TVService]: Error while checking if a com object is installed - b2f3a67c-29da-4c78-8831-091ed509a475 - System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {B2F3A67C-29DA-4C78-8831-091ED509A475} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

and that you are using 4TR.

Regarding RecordedTv itself there is no issue in your logs - but then again iirc 4TR replaces our tvplugin...

    Hi RTV,
I'm not the originator of this post, but I've come across the same problem. How do I get the log file so that I can post it here, hopefully that will be able to give some clue as to what is happening for me.

Its been a while, sorry, I've been away.

Anyway, here are the log files:

Some more info: I had the same problem with the music database when I first got it, it wouldn't show any music files, but with the last update it seems that the music database is now working, but the recorded TV isn't.
