    Hi all,

I have continous problem with stuttering during watching TV - both on server and client side. This is the last thing in my rig which doesn't work flawlessly. Every minute or two there is a short hiccup of the picture (pixelation) and sound.
I tried several things including changing timeshift drives, network settings, drivers, codecs and many more - no luck.

In my TsWriter log there are several "continuity errors". It might be related with the signal (I have ~70% strenght and 98-99% quality) but in the DVBViewer everything works fine without any problem.

Maybe you can see something in my logs or have any advice for me.
    Thx, kesar

Thx for the tip. The problem is that the issue appears on both server and client side (server has Radeon GPU), so it must be related with server configuration. Also the recorded programs have these flaws.
I changed some BIOS settings and I see a little improvement. Not perfect though. I will be trying. Thx.

    Hi there,

Looks like you have two issues (not both causing pixelation):

    1) Discontinuity errors are normally (but not always) a signal issue (DVBviewer is perhaps not as sensitive to a poor signal - might be using different codecs too)
    2) You have EPG errors

Miraculously, it's perfect now. Based on PD link I again tried the PCI latency and there was the problem. Some yellow and red bars in dpclat showed that something is wrong with the drivers/bios. I turned off an old SCSI controller and  now everything works great without any pixels and all the bars are green.

THX a lot to both of you :D
