That is one of the problems with 1.1.x - you can't choose the encoder. You would have to uninstall the Intervideo encoders to attempt to use the Mainconcept ones. With 1.2.0b you can set the priorities of the encoders and check whether they are recognised. See -->here<-- for more information. This is one of the best new features of 1.2.0 for people with analog tuners that require software encoders...

OK. I took the leap and went beta. It works now nicely, what remains is to work out zoom and cropping for the analog image.
