I've seen the post around before but can't find how do we enable remote filtering like in Moving Pictures for MP TV Servies? Have a large collection and scrolling through 300 plus TV Show's is becoming a pain.

It should just work as-is via SMS-style filtering, meaning the numbers equal letters, so to jump to TV show 'Fringe', you would hit the number '3' three times (assuming you have shows starting with letter 'D' and 'E' as well, as it skips the letters you do not have. You might then still need to use the arrow key a few times to get to the right show, if you have a lot of shows starting with 'F', but you get the idea. Just be careful mixing and matching the SMS-style system between MovPic and MP-TVSeries, because jumping to first letter in MovPic requires '0' key first, which matches delete menu in MP-TVSeries, and if you have delete from GUI enabled, that can cause serious problems.
Another thing to keep in mind is the page up/down option, which is normally mapped to channel +/- on a remote control and allows for much quicker navigation on a large list.
However if you have *that* many shows though, what you should be looking into is using views and use MediaPortal v1.2beta. That version will allow you to setup a default view different from 'All', so that filtering is easier for the main shows you watch. The view 'viewTags' allows you to create a MovingPictures alike category-view setup that is quick to navigate. You can setup your own filtering, for example genres "Sitcoms", "Reality", etc. Or filter it down on active shows and shows that are over/ended.
Once you spend some time on the view system it quickly becomes your friend.

I've now ticked the box to "Use EVR for LiveTV", with a default display refresh rate of 50Hz. In combination with tweaking some of the Nvidia 3D settings for the MP executable only, I now have a...
