This has been a problem throughout the RC releases
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...te-not-working-after-resume-84467/index2.html
where after resuming from standby (I'm not sure that I've seen the problem after resuming from hibernate), my remote doesn't work properly, IE only a few keys work including the directional and OK buttons. If I close MP and load the WinTV IR.exe and test with a notepad file named debug.txt, all the keys are recognised, so it doesn't appear to be a driver problem.

On this particular occasion, when I opened Windows Explorer, it seemed as if a phantom Back button was being pressed as every time I clicked on a folder, the highlight jumped back to My Computer and in Internet Explorer, every time I clicked on a link, it went to open the link and then jumped back to the original page. This was fixed by rebooting, as was the remote problem.

As requested, the extended logging option in the remote config page is ticked, so hopefully there's something in there that will be helpful in tracking down and fixing this bug.

Indeed a issue with our code.

That's great that you've been able to identify the problem.

I shall eagerly await the fix :D

Please backup original fiel and put those 2 in the same directory.

    Report back if it works.

Is this the Hauppauge remote that connects to the back of the TV Card?

I've had the same issue on my HVR-1300. I never could resolve it. The reason is that after resume the device is not accessible and even Hauppauge's own software cannot find it. It happens even without MP installed - just install WinTV after a few suspend/resume cycles, the remote stops working and the IR app (IIRC it was named IR32) exits with the error that no remote receiver was detected.

In the end I gave up.:(

This is the Hauppauge remote that connects to the back of my Nova-T 500.

My problem doesn't appear to be the same though, because each time after resume when the remote hasn't worked in MP, it has worked using IR32, so the device is obviously working.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help (IE memory dumps, debug logs), if you haven't got access to the same hardware (that is, if you think it's a hardware specific problem).
