YESSSSS!!!

Sorry, my bad! I had the replacement driver installed without knowing it. I happened to find its folder and the uninstall.bat, and after a reboot (or 2) the original driver was installed again. Now it works perfectly. This is a very very nice program suite. Thanks!!!
