Can you upload your latest source too ? :p
    Thanks :)

Ps : With the command line directly in MP, it seems to work.

Not working too bad here. Added my recorded TV folder as a share on network client, and it generates thumbs for all but 2 recordings.

How do you think it compares with what we have currently, and how does it compare with your version?

Thumbs are bad aspect ratio, and are not resized in storage network.

    Why is not maked !
    - movie is too short ! ( can you add a percentage of video When video is short ? ), For Movie no problem, but for Video family ..
    - Movie "starship troopers" not work. is .m2ts file,

Good enhancement : make a fanart file ? i use this, for video without fanart (old movie / personal video ) , and is overwriten when scrap IMDB

    Good luck ...

    Guys,

Doesnt matter how much testing I do... I can rely on you to find my mistakes!! (doesnt help when I run on i7 with SSD and Gbe LAN to mask issues) :(

I had another trivial mistake with milliseconds/seconds...where the movie extraction timeout was too short. I have corrected that now.

The new version will now write its log file to the Mediaportal/Logs directory (if it exists - otherwise to the same directory as the MTN.EXE)

    V53 on first page :D

    Version 51:
Frame grabs are now equally spaced between start and end points
I'm not sure it's a good idea to create thumbnails after something like the first 10 - 20 % of a video file. If you recorded a sports event you might reveal the end result before even starting watching and even some movies have spoilers at the end.

A nice feature would be if Replacement MTN could work with comskip data to avoid creating thumbnails during commercial breaks :)

    Hi there,

I am wary of investing too much time in this, if MePo will end up directly supporting/using FFMpeg and not needing an external program for thumbnailing.

I was only looking to make this a direct working replacement to MTN - and not a feature rich thumbnailing solution (I'm not a dev after all) lol

Let me getting it working 100% first - then I might consider requests ;)
