OOH, your a superstar, been fannying about for 2 hours removing dodgy pixels out of a chain of gifs. stopped doing that now, gonna have to get to grips with these anims now. didnt even realise they existed

Is this this new xmal? <-possibly spelt wrong ive read about?

Looks like im gonna be nicking stuff from nonafo,replicant,pm3 & B2 now
Maybe it should be called Nonreppmblu?? lol

Currently its all over but heres the current one in playing with but it changes every hour LOL

Well thats a lie, it actually changes every few minutes cos the background is set to randomly change. im just in the process of finding enough backrounds that will work with the layout.

some screens will be transparent with the scenery and others will be solid ( like your used to)

dunno yet it its gonna work and i know LOADS of people are gonna say they cant read xxx in xxx window but hey, its different!

you should download it, the animations are pretty trick, theyll be a new version, maybe today or tom with all the updated anim.
want to get a decent set of pics to test before i do that tho

One though woule be to sync the screens with the desktop
When i get bak on to making it a dedicated htpc it would look pretty funky when the menus appear out of the desktop!!

now you porting it over to 4:3 excellent

I need your help with the basic home screen. How could I change the TV module to the multishortcut - plugin/ module? Is this possible?
And then I want to remove the TV-seies-button in videos.In which xml is it ?

Not sure i understand the first q?, do you mean you want TV to open "my Programs"??

The Tv Series is in myvideo.xml, about 3/4 way down

papas, to remove the buttons you need to open the .xml files and remove the command for the buttons

The command starts with <command> and ends with </command>
you need to remove all the code between these two that relate to the button you want to remove INCLUDING the <command> lines above
Delete

button properties
ect
ect
</command>

Appologies about the state of the code, im using a text editor and ive never been the cleanest LOL

Let me know what you think of the transparent backgrounds, any problems with reading??

This as far as im concerned is a good release so if you find any errors please let me know. Im aware a few screens have not been crystalised yet but thats all

Nope.

BTW - It is XAML.

That will come when the new skin engine appears later. The animation additions that Frodo provided are only to give a little bells & whistles to the existing skinning. You will be blown away when the new skin engine appears - it may take a little bit (depending on the tools used/available) to get XAML skins up and running. We will see.
