it crashes when you press 'get theatres' i am searching in the UK if that makes a difference.
This does not make a difference (I believe). I'm searching in the netherlands but tried canada (default) and same deal.

Apparently, i don't have this issue...

Can you tell me:

- Which version of MP are you running?
- Have you copy the ShowTimesGrabber dll into the plugin/process folder?
- Have you copy the ShowTimesGUI dll into the plugin/Windows folder?

Maybe i've post the wrong files?

By the way, i've made some changes.
Hope the CPU related issue was solved.
I've also modified the skins because they contain a "control" with ID 0 that seems to generate errors in MP.

In attach you can find the new package with the original post.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've update MTSA and the plugin (compiled against the latest RC3 SVN - works with RC4).

Now descriptions in UK cinemas should work.

I've tried the plugin with Monochrome and it work. Please let me know how it work with other skins.

For italian users: utenti italiani andate qui per ulteriori informazioni: Plugin ShowTimes... Anche in Italia!

Bye,
Nephilim

Using RC4 atm, but as I reported I had it working for the lasttime on 0.2.3.0 stable. 1.0RC1 made things bad.
Using all kinda skins (aeon wide, mediastream, blue2/3) with the same result.
It's not skin related because I just am not able to configure things... So testing the skin side of things I really haven't done (proper) yet.

The plugins are all sitting in the right places. I´ll try this new release and report back.

Edit:
Sorry have to report the same bug with the new version.
To be more thorough I attached al the logs and xml´s generated.

I didn't understand if the application crash or you have an empty theater list?
Have you tried using city name instead of postal code?

i have tried using city name instead of postal code. still the same error, i can't remember it exactly and dont have access to it right now, but it happens when you press get theatre list, and it says something about the app has to be run from within the mediaportal folder, or something like that, maybe somebody else who has access to it right now can clarify.

    Hi Nephilim,
tried with your new compiled package - still the same behaviour. btw, I am using RC4 - but had the same behaviour with several SVNs before. Get application crash when pressing "get theaters". If I run mtsa.exe manually with properly configured configfile and "/updatetheaters" option, this works and theaters will be listed in the associated file. I use names - according mtsa website, postal codes are not supported for germany.
After manually starting mtsa.exe, it loads data that can also be displayed inside MP (I use monochrome).
So it seems a problem in the config interface?
    Thanks, Guzzi

i also experienced something similar, managed to somehow manually configure my xml file and it worked briefly inside mediaportal, but then something went wrong and i haven't been able to fix it since.

Hi Nephilim, do you think you could add version numbers to your attachments/downloads so we can see if we have the latest version ;)

    I use this one:
    myshowtimes.zip
RC4, StreamedMP skin (not currently supporting myShowTimes but this isn't a skin issue)
Dropped the 3 folders into the MP directory (overwriting the existing).
Created a MTSA directory in the MP directory and dropped the MTSA.exe into it.
Ran the config and pointed it at the MTSA.exe file and the MTSA folder for the downloads.
    Posters set to high
    Trailers set to HD1080
Remove old media and extra IMDB details checked
    7 days to retrieve
    Theatre locations - I use 'leeds|bradford' - get Theatres
Showtimes Grabber - DL every 5 days, force on MP start and notify both checked, debug not checked
    Manual DL

    Working??
