You need the latest MTSA for the details.
Have the latest

You also need BOTH bits in the correct folders to make it work - configure with the Showtimes grabber under the process plugins
The bold bit doesn't work for me as described.

Edit:
Attached the mtsa.log. You can see it grabbing the movies.
It just doesn't grab any details

trailers are there too, although I still experience problems playing them (flv-format, just getting black screen, will mplayer or vlc-plugin solve this?)
    Are you using FFDShow?
    Try FLVSplitter

..yeah! - tried a FLV-splitter before without success, but after downloading and registering the latest one, it works! thanks!
there is no HD-Trailers available for germany, is it? Although setting Showtimes to download HD1080, the trailers are in 640 resolution...

    Edit:

I get an error in the mediaportal.log:
    2008-12-02 17:03:43.466503 [Info.][MPMain]: No translation found for id 7211992

I thought, the ID is 7111992? maybe the IDs are somehow mixed?

The NL part of MTSA has not been update for a while...
BTW i've found some bugs in the code and i'm fixing it... ;)
Actually the trailers are from Apple Trailers and often movie titles are wrong...
You have set poster and trailers to "none".
Maybe with a good trailer source for NL...

    x Guzzi

For Germany i get the trailers directly from MSN and no HD trailers are available, sorry...
About the error, you have to add a string in your language xml file with id 7111992...

    x Spudr

I don't understand that you already use the latest plugins... Sorry... ;)

    X All

Can you try to copy the dialogs.dll from Plugin/Windows to Plugin/process folder? Thank you!

    Bye,

Which city and theaters have you set so i can try it?
I have set Rotterdam (didn't do a postal code search) as the location.
The theatres I have enabled are (all except top one):
    - Cinerama
    - Pathé De Kuip
    - Pathé Schouwburgplein

Well I don't really use dutch sites for viewing trailers, but I did a quick search and found these:
    - Het laatste filmnieuws en de complete filmagenda - Filmfocus.nl - Je blijft kijken! (seems pretty prof. / ok)
    - F I L M T R A I L E R S . N L (not so prof.)

Sounds promising :) Volunteering to test anything you're coming up with!

    Edit:
Pathé, it's a big theatre in the Netherlands, has trailers too, such as this one:
    http://www.pathe.nl/filminfo.asp?film_id=5009

Dunno if you're looking for something that provides an easy way (webservice) of getting the relevant data to stream the trailer...

    Let me know....
I had that setting checked everytime I tested. This does not seem to work for some reason.
When I do a manual download it happens realy, really quick. It also tells me some theatres didn't have enough days available as schedule. Tried it even with 2 days, same deal.

    Edit:
I think I broke it again :) Backedup my original MyShowtimes folder and deleted everything so I could try to reconfigure. Now it doesn't crash but it also doesn't download anything anymore. No moviedata.xml

And about the trailers. It's no priority for me. Having some overview is all I'm asking for :)

The log you post at 16.09, show that the this option was set to false.
Showtime data is grabbed from Belbios, so day limitions is related to this site.
Speed is related to your internet connection, if you disable trailers it should be faster.

    ??? Sorry i don't understant what's happened... :(

    Try the MTSA in attach.
This version should fix some issue grabbing data from IMDB (for ALL country!!!)

    X ALL

It's ok if i make a new topic with the package and updates history in the first post?

It seems kinda hopeless... For me it's really unstable. Trying to start over is hard. You need to remove specific stuff from MediaPortal.xml etc.

It just seems to download moviedata.xml ones. In that file only are a list of names. I can't find any details anywhere either.
Still having this window plugin thing going on (otherwise the config crashes) which doesn't seem right to me...

I might have one little clue for you. Dunno if it helps or if it could break the plugin somehow.
pathé is spelled wrong in the moviedata.xml I get (encoding issue).

I guess'll have to live without this plugin, 2 bad.

    Edit:

sorry I was wrong. My editor mis-interpreted the encoding I believe. Once I set it to UTF-8 things where fine.
I just zipped the content of the showtimes folder. Maybe it'll help.
About the imdb details. They are checked now (and I thought I was certain I always checked that box) but still the info shows in xml as <info />

I know most stuff in there probably won't showup on searches because of the weird names with stuff like "(ov)" or for example a title: "Quantum Of Solace, James Bond 22"

but there is "Burn After Reading" which should showup I guess....

    Edit 2:

Tried running it in MP now.
It shows a popup that it updated, but nothing changed. the log is untouched.

Your behaviour is very strange, i have all the data in the moviedata.xml for your configuration.
And there is a lot of people that use this plugin (almost in Italy...)

Your config.xml say that you have enabled "extra info" but your mtsa.log say other...

    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\locations.xml
    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\mtsa.log
    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\Temp\
    [SETTINGS] 1
[SETTINGS] False 'Extra Details from IMDB
    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\Posters\
    [SETTINGS] None
    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\Trailers\
    [SETTINGS] None
    [SETTINGS] False
    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\moviedata.xml
    [SETTINGS] D:\Mijn Video's\ShowTimes\moviedata.xsd

I think the problem is in the mediaportal.xml can you post it?
Try to set "NUmberOfDays" to 1 and "REmoveOldMedia" to False

In attach the moviedata.xml that i have running MTSA from my PC with your locations (with the MTSA log and config.xml).

    Here's the mediaportal.xml.

I noticed that too. There are some "false" and 'nones" in the log even though the config says otherwise.
Could it be that ' in the path causes an issue? I believe I already tried some other more simple pathname.

    btw

If you want me too I could just zip all MP related stuff and upload it to mediafire. Then maybe you could test it in some virtual machine too make things clearer?
