A tv station (KVOA-DT) announced that after they made improvements to their transmitter viewers would have to rescan. After the rescan, the Medial Portal channel information is incorrect. Selecting KVOA-DT results in a "Channel not found" message. Selecting "Unknown 4-1" does connect to KVOA-DT. Some channels, when selected, connect to a different channel.

The easiest way to correct the problem would be to delete all Media Portal channel information, and then scan. Unfortunately, I cant find a way of deleting the channel information. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thanks,
Bill

    Bill,

If you select TV Channels(nnn) page you can select 1 or many channels and press "delete" to remove the channels. You can also "right click" on a channel to delete. On a few occassions I've done this to select and delete all channels when I was doing some scan testing. I've also seen the "Unknown" after scanning. See TV Channels wiki

You will probably also need to double check your xmltv, WebEPG, setup to redo the EPG setup for your channels. TV Server import/export has options to save and restore some of you channel group and schedules.

    Ron,

Thank you. After following your instructions and rescanning everything is fine.
