I wanted to create a sample, so I downloaded mkvtoolnx/mkvmerge.
I created a file of 15mb and tested to see if the same problem is there. And guess what, it was gone. The file was however converted to mkv, but it fixes the problem.
So providing a small sample with the problem looks impossible with mkvmerge. Is there an other tool I can use to create a sample and leave everything else as is?
So now I am thinking it is the problem is caused by the filetype, or coding which is sloppy. Does all this sound familiar? Or should it not happen anyway?
You can start to transfer the sample on FTP and cut if off (195Mo right so maybe you can upload the whole sample) would be nice if Nevcairiel can look it maybe it was fixable or not lol
Yesterday I had an hour time to figure out how to upload it to a filesharing site or something. I tried 2 of them, all came back with errors after the upload.
Is there an upload site which you can recommend? THe file is 202mb. Thank you in advance.
PS. I password encripted the file, so I will not be blamed by anyone for copyright stuff. Is this wise? or overly cautious.
Tried it, no joy as well. To be sure you know, I use a ATI HD5670.
I updated to catalyst 12.1, and still same effect is there.
Is there not any weird thing in the file? when I play it inside MP, or with MPCHC, Graphedit, it all results in the same stutter.
If I create an MKV out of it (with mkvmerge in 10 seconds) It plays fine. Must be something in the heading of the file.... Its weird.
Yep surely something wrong with the file and it's maybe only show up with ATI because on my Nvidia 9600GT it's ok.
It's really weird effectively.
I will try to upload sample to nev, can you test the file on another computer ?
Thanks.
