A short update for all who might have the same issue:
When you are using server media sources (UNC network paths), you need to make sure to enter valid network credentials to access them. If you are using multiple clients, this step has currently to be done on each client. In future this is planned to be solved by introducing "global" settings which apply to server and all clients.
The failure itself occured, because the creation of a NetworkResourceAccessor failed and the StreamedResourceBridge was used to stream via the server. This is slower and also not supported in TsVideoPlayer.
