I think I have narrowed it down to the DVB-T EPG grabber. I have set the machine to wake at 5am every morning to grab EPG via PowerScheduler. Was going to say that this seems to work but looking at logs there is nothing in the EPG logs to suggest anything happend at 5am to the EPG.
