Hi, Not long been using TV on my PC. I've had a search for "retune" and I've looked here Scan DVB-T - MediaPortal Wiki. But its not answered my question.

I've suddenly lost alot of channels and the digitaluk website seems to indicate a retune was needed recently on set top boxes. I'm just curious how I do this, just like when I originally scanned for channels in the TVserver config menus? Will this kill off all my channel renaming and combinations etc or is it safe to do?

    Thanks
    Batfink

    Hi Batfink

Yes, you retune by scanning for channels like whey you first set them up. It should not kill your renaming or combinations (if it does it is a bug).

Use the 'All Regions' setting as some of the channels have moved out of the UK region settings. Sandy Heath is a good example of this. Using the Sandy Heath region results in quite a few channels missing from the re-tune. Using 'All Regions' finds them.
