1.36 Return of the 'Unable to Play' message.... (1 Viewer)

Just upgraded to 1.37 'Willow'.....and although TV is fine.....I'm unable to play video.
Error message points to Mpeg4IsoAvc or MpeghIsoHevc.
Have now dropped back to 1.37pre ....but problem is the same
I've attached logs....hoping for a comment please!!?

Reverted back to Willow (64)....still the same problem with video.
Am I doing something stupid.....?

My guess (and that is all that it is) is that you are missing a codec that can play the file in question. MP installs codecs for the more-common video formats, but possibly not for the rarer formats. (HEVC -- what's that?)

What codec should you install manually? I don't know.

HEVC.....high efficiency video codec....think also described as H.265.
Mediaportal has been happy with these files for years!!!!
Wonder if the problem is connected with LAV filters.....which I've also used for years now!!!?

Yes....the .bat file is executed!
Switching to EVR.....same problem....no video, but TV is OK

Of possible significance perhaps....!?
When opening TVConfig....this appears before the config page opens....

I also had this problem with latest install from yesterday.
Then, remove the DVBIP filter or, something like that (look inside MPEI installed) and reboot, it should be OK.

somehow (part of) tvservice still references mysql 6.6. this should be the newest one (9.something)
Do you use mpurlsourcesplitter (for the tvpart, separately installed) or mpiptv filter (installed with mediaportal itself)?
