did you notice in the video, when he went into "now playing" after he played a song, there was no album art.. only a blank cd case, but when he went into the lyrics plugin, the album art was there.. i'm having that same issue..
how do you get the album art to show up when in now playing?

Just adjust the <height>482</height> abit, under <description>graphical list (series and seasons if set)</description>.
Try it at 500

Just adjusted the code and set it to 530. Which is very nice for 1280x720 & 1920x1080.

Whats the thought process behind common.facade.video.xml ?
Because if you use that the icon view in MyVideos only shows 2 rows of icons instead of 3.
You can set <itemHeight>162</itemHeight> and then it looks better but why not just use common.facade.xml ?

Actually it's just legacy code from B2 wide, I'm looking into getting both big and small icon view improved. I'll have a look at common.facade.xml. I see from the way icon view scrolling works that the control isn't limited to the actual width/height dimensions, is this intentional? As reported earlier, it looks a bit pants scrolling down, but up looks okay.

Yes, that was unfortunate . I really have no idea why some people have this problem, I rarely have, and not in the latest release. Perhaps updating your music db may help. Perhaps DMAN can shed some light...

I'm just having one problem: when I put visualisation on full screen I get a grey box (dialogue box?) that won't go away. It also happens in tv too and only goes away when I escape and then go back to full screen.

Hi armyofme, could you run MP in windowed mode and grab a screenshot of those two screens. Usually MP displays the visible screen/dialog on the title bar. Also have you checked that this doesn't happen in B2 wide?

There seems to be a problem with "TVMiniGuide.xml" in 1.0.4 When I press 'OK' when playing full screen TV, I get the dialog but the text is overlapping and quite unreadable. I replaced the xml with the 1.0.3 version, that seems to fix it.

Another weirdness: when music visualizations are disabled in the setup I get a flickering black square (outline) in the topleft corner of the screen. (not with 1.0.3)

Thanks for the reoprt on the TVMiniGuide, it's already been fixed for the next release. I get that flickering black square too, I'm not sure what it is

Real Life kidnapped me for a while, but now I've got some to give feedback to some of the recent posts...

The suggested change of height from 482 to 530 for description in TV Series seems to me not to be a good idea, unless I misunderstood. I disabled the "resize etc etc" in the setup and when changing from 482 to 500 or 530 I get the following result (screenshot from 530, similar but lesser effect with 500) - see TVSeriesToobig

Personally I *did* like the green font for the TV Series so I guess I will make that change myself for personal use.

Which brings me to the following. I generally have a look at most of the updated skins. I currently prefer Replicant by far, but I was charmed by the colors used in Foofaraw: green on black.

And so, after making some mockups of effects, I'd like to test a darker version of Replicant. Any chance of getting the original files of the backgrounds to experiment with ?

And now that I mentioned them: the effects...

I admit that the mirorring and the zoom look really nice, and especially Harley's screenshots of his newest creation are... baffling ! BUT... Some of the skins loaded with all this eyecandy become very slow on some machines (like my 1920x1200 nvidia FX Go5650 Dell laptop).

Well... so much for the rant I'd better start doing something !

I would love a darker version!
I like Replicant the best when i look at layout, but like skins like spinsafe revolve and PM3 the best when I look at colour...

So a darker Replicant would be great!
