The new colors and icons are great!
Thanks for the best skin for MP!

One question though: during video playback, there are some nice options in the 'menu' screen, like changing subtitle delay and AV synch. However, none of them works.

Why is that?

Hi Reptile,
first i´d like to thank you for - IMHO - the one and only MP skin. it´s far the best, i think.
due to the need to rename some recordings, i realized that the "keyboard overlay" that appears when in my video plugin> context menu> file menu> rename is not working well. it seems that it looses the focus if i navigate to the "left positioned" character keys.
can someone agree to that? i´m not sure because it could be some misconfiguration/calibration issue? but: any other menu navigation i´ve been trying so far, work appropriate.

Hi,

my feedback to release 1.0.7: to be honest I liked the former colors much, much better. It made your skin something special; now the overall blue design is ok, but not "whow" anymore. The former "shiny" effects looked very professional, now everything is just one color with a light gradient like everyone else has.

The icons are ok, too, but personally I liked to .6 icons more .

You skin is still one of the best available, but in my humble opinion the .7 is a step back compared to .6.

I'm a bit ambivalent. I really like the new icons and colour scheme, but I also wholeheartedly agree that the new backgrounds lack a little certain something. They're a bit too flat and monotone for me, while the old ones had more 'life'.

Thus, I hope someone takes up the editing offer and creates an alternative in the 'style and feel' of the old backgrounds, but with similar colurs as the new ones.

I realise the new graphics will not be to everyones taste, that's why I've included a psd template for both the old and new screen graphics. Feel free to create your own “skins”, please post them here for everyone to see/use

I've read everybody's comments - thanks for the commendations and opinions.

Firstly. LXB I have tried what you said and I'm unable to reproduce your problem, try B2 wide. There is no skinning info that I'm aware of (apart from the key gfx) for the onscreen keyboard.

Secondly, moti_r I don't know why those osd controls don't work, they are legacy from the original nonafo skin. I've never managed to get them to work either, perhaps a dev could enlighten me.

Thirdly, with regard to the scheme change, it is my first atempt and to be honest I'm no Picasso. With ereybody's help what I would like to achieve is what Gaukaren brought up, "alternative in the 'style and feel' of the old backgrounds, but with similar colurs as the new ones.". So what I propose is that if someone can find an icon set that fits the old background a lot better than either gant or buuf, I'm willing to release the original gfx version again. Personally I do prefer the new icons, but I think the backgroud gfx could be better. I'm working away from home next week so what I'll do is repakage the original gfx (gant included) with the lasted xml updates and release that as "Replicant Original". I would really appreciate some help in creating a background that retains the original "spark" but matches the new icons.

EDIT: mofux if you're the original author of the nonafo gfx, perhaps you could release the psd? Altrnatively could you create something similar to match the new icon set?

VideoEditor plugin: I think you are missing "mpeg to divx" selection.
MyWeatherOverlay: It don't work for me. I must do download a plugin? Where?

This skin is really GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!

I tried some previous releases but has some major problems and had to change back to B2 wide.

With version 1.07 I just found some minor problems and this time it seems that I have not to change back again to B2 wide.

Problems/bugs I found:

No album cover display in my Music and now playing screen when using Winamp viz. The album cover stays empty with a red "x" inside.
