Not to decide this for the author, but I doubt it.any plans for an 4:3 VERSION
I really doubt we will see many 4:3 skins in the future, its kind of a dead format.
Who doesnt have a widescreen monitor/tv these days?

I'm afraid not idioteque, it's WAY too much work to take on. I kinda agree with DarkWader, I bought my lcd tv because of MeadiaPortalany plans for an 4:3 VERSION

yesterday I noticed some weird behaviour that only seems to occur when the TV is on, and you go back to the basic home screen. When the little box has the tv playing on the bottom row.
It looks like some spot light effect coming down from the Top left, and the first letter of most menu items (eg. Videos, Series) is cut off.
It does not do this when playing a video, nor does it so this with blue two wide. If you need more details, I can try and grab a screenshot.
Also, when back at the home screen, with videos or tv playing in the little box in the bottom, how do you return to it full screen, the remote doesn't seem to navigate below the menu items line. If you use the mouse you can click the preview area.

The "lightning/spotlight/flashing black background" effect is a apparently a known problem with nvidia cards and MediaPortal. I find it extremely annoying that this has not been conclusively solved yet. I can assure you the above mentioned artifacts will appear in B2, at least on my rig anyway. There is nothing I'm aware of that I can do to fix it, sorry...
As for the hame navigation issues, I'll add/ammend all the buttons' ondown attribute to 99, that should cure it. Thanks for bringing it up.

Here's a quick update for those of you using the MyLyrics and MyFilms plugins, v0.22 and v4.2.2 are supported respectfully. Thanks to mackey for the mods to his plugin.

and just to clarify description here is a screenshot. This exact behaviour does not occur for me in B2Wide. I don't think its any mods I made to the basichome screen, as it worked prior to a reinstall just fine.
