Hi,

is there someone out there who keeps the "old" Replicant up-to-date?
Replacing and editing the grafics is not the problem for me. The XML files and the espacially all the (text) color codes give me headaches.

:)

Thanks again Psycho for your excellent work!!

Do you plan to support the new IE-Based Webbrowser plugin? I tried to use it with ReVision but it destroys the complete screen, even unable to navigate back to home screen.
May be you can have a look at it and add support to ReVision?
If it would be helpful I can assist testing it....

Thanks in advance and best regards
mpFrank

@ lkuech, thanks, and yes I'd like a copy of that preview, so I can update ReVision :).

    @ kalinium1, pleasure ;).

@ panic, sorry, I completely forgot about Replicant - I'll see what I can do over the next few days ;).

    @ mpfrank, thanks, I'll have a look at the IE-Based WebBrowser ;).

    @ stormbringer

First, let me say thanks for the compliment :).
Answer: mirk made a "games menu", a while back, that you could use to create a basic home screen for any thing you like. Basically add buttons and edit the xml to create a menu linking to anything you want- have a look for it around the forum ;)...

... or use the link below :)

Yeah , I knew this psycho - my demand comes along this one: In myplugins I have the multishortcutplugin which has a dynamic id and so i couldn´t edit the xml files.
I only want to know if it is possible to have in the myplugins screen a horrizontal look instead of the normal!?
I hope you could understand , don´t know how to specify it in english.
    any help would be loved

It's really impressive how much time and effort you are putting in these skins. I'm not using it because the font's are to small to be used on a CRT TV. But a big thank you still is in place!

Yes it is, I don't know about the multishortcut plugin, but mirk's games menu can be used to do what you want. Hyperlink the plugins button on the home screen to the new menu. If you arrange the buttons in the same way as the basic home page I think you'll get what you want. I was using the games menu as horizontal layout basic home screen for the tv funtions i commonly use. Let me know what plugins you want in basic home style plugin screen and I'll try put something together - it may be easier with pictures :).

    @ Bram, thanks ;).

THX for your reply psycho - but I guess the problem is that the multishortcut has a dynamic ID , so I guess it won´t work with the hyperlinks - right?

If the ID changes all the time it probably won't be possible to link to it from a button using a hyperlink, I also see that no xml file is included in the download. If however you have a few plugins you use regularly you could use the games menu ID when hyperlinking from the basic home screen.

@ mpfrank, after recompiling the IE-Based Webbrowser plugin to eliminate "unhandled exceptions" using the latest svn configuration, there seems to be hardcoded alignment issues with the web page layout - it's has a fixed location. A long while back I deleted the gfx required for this plugin (as it was removed from the MP distribution), copying the gfx file from B2 will allow you to see what I mean. I'll skin it, but if you could get the author to allow skinners to position the web page window that would be helpful ;).
