    Hi all.

    just updated to MP 1.7. Rockstar is still shown as compatible and it starts as long as I switch Spotify off. But when I turn Spotify on, it won't start any longer. I have a Spotify subscription, User/PW are correct.
    Rockstar only shows a black screen as if a skin file is missing (I'm using Titan). Error message says "Missing or invalid file:" but no file is mentioned, see attached screenshot.
    There are a lot of error messages in the logs - all attached.

    For example:
    Code:
    [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - Error initializing window:Rockstar.UI.RockstarPlugin Die Datei oder Assembly "Bass.Net, Version=2.4.10.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b7566c273e6ef480" oder eine Abhängigkeit davon wurde nicht gefunden. Die gefundene Manifestdefinition der Assembly stimmt nicht mit dem Assemblyverweis überein. (Ausnahme von HRESULT: 0x80131040) Rockstar bei Rockstar.Mediaportal.TorshifyPlayer..ctor(TorshifyClient client)
       bei Rockstar.Management.PlayerManager..ctor(Dictionary`2 clients)
       bei Rockstar.RockstarCore.InitializeComponents()
       bei Rockstar.UI.RockstarPlugin.InitializeComponentsAndEvents()
       bei Rockstar.UI.RockstarPlugin.Init()
       bei MediaPortal.GUI.Library.PluginManager.LoadWindowPlugin(String strFile)

    I already deinstalled Rockstar, deleted all files I found (database, rockstar.xml, logs, ...) but problem is still there, when I turn on Spotify.

    Any idea what's going on here??

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

    I have hit my head several times against the same wall in the past when mediaportal updated (alpha, beta, pre, release).
    I have learned in time: "Only upgrade MP when rockstar says its compatible in the forum"
    Else you will not enjoy spotify..

    Just wait for the plugin to update I guess.....
    Mostly Seco is fast 2-3 days.

    Regards!

    Maybe related to MP1-4350 ?
    So missing bump again and ofc plugins need to have correct dependency set to make it work correctly but still something was not done correctly :)

    Edit : i'm not talking about Rockstar but in general

    This is a typical MP problem - plugins are very dependant on a specific version of MP.

    No it's a problem with MP dependency feature which I've critized enough but no one cares to do anything about it.
